The Material

Steamed Ash

The fine patterns in the grain of the steamed ash proceed in straight lines. This indigenous wood is heated for a short time to ensure that it is able to absorb less water. The nut-brown shimmering surface is then oiled and polished so that neither shaving lather nor soapy water stands a chance.

The Brush Head

Black Fiber

Innovative into the future: with its dark coloring, softness and quality, this synthetic fiber is a sustainable answer to the questions of our time. Black Fiber resembles natural badger hair but is more robust and durable, and slightly softer at the tip than the natural material. The MÜHLE manufactory's own innovation makes it possible to whip up a particularly creamy shaving lather, and the effort required for cleaning and drying is significantly lower.

Design as a statement: RYTMO features a minimalist, conical form that stands in deliberate aesthetic contrast to the striking lines of the chrome-plated base. The result is a series that catches the eye in variations of high-grade black resin and high-grade petrol resin, as well as brushes and razors made of heat-treated ash wood. The holder in the RYTMO line offers reliable protection against scratches with a sophisticated detail, namely a plastic insert, which interlocks with the metal and fits like a glove.
