The Material

Ancient Oak & Sterling Silver

Two materials from a different era: brushes and shavers are made from the finest bog oak, a wood that was locked in an airtight seal by bogs and swamps for thousands of years. Suffused with tannins, it acquired its unique coloring over time. Sterling silver, extracted from the depths of the earth and incorporated into the wood, accentuates the natural unevenness of the fine grain.

This premium, durable synthetic fiber is a worldwide innovation and MÜHLE's proof that art can surpass nature. Silvertip Fibre® is suitable for vegans, consists of 37% renewable, plant-based raw materials, is very easy to care for and dries faster than any natural hair. The fibers are made by hand and are particularly soft at the tip, while the lower part of the brush is firmer and provides enough backbone for a pleasant massage effect, even when wet. Silvertip Fibre also produces a luxurious lather with the smallest amount of shaving soap or cream.
